Ed Evangelista

Ed started line dancing in 2007 in CT after attending a line dance social and was immediately hooked! He became a regular dancer at The Cadillac Ranch in Southington, CT and was part of the “Just Gotta Dance” country line dance group, performing at various events and parades in the area. Ed choreographed his first dance in 2011, “Beers A Go Go”, and since that time, has choreographed over 100 dances, many of which have been taught and danced all over the world. In 2021, at the urging of his good friend Rob Holley, Ed began competing his dances in the United States Line Dance Choreography Competitions and since then, his choreographies have won first place five times in their divisions. In 2026, Ed also competed in the choreography competition at the Sunshine N Line World Dance Masters event in Orlando and his dances won both 1st & 2nd place the beginner line dance division and 2nd place in the improver division.
