Nina Skyrud

Passionate line dancer based in the east part of Norway, north of Oslo. Choreography has developed to be a big part of my dancelife. My most successful dances are Love Button, You Can Hear A Heart Break with Cato Larsen and That Kinda Cha with Rob Fowler. I have attended workshops in line dance choreography and instruction held by Cato Larsen, and dance regularly in his club Western Line Dancers. I attended Rob Fowlers choreography classes online. I also dance occasionally with other groups in Norway and attend workshops with international choreographers and instructors as often as I can. All of this giving me inspiration. As a social dancer I appreciate good choreography. My goal is to make dances built on basic craftsmanship: Movements flowing naturally; good transitions; picking up the style and rythm, right level, structure and listening for interesting parts in the music and/or lyrics for ideas I can build the dance around. With all this in the bottom: Musicality! Because it’s all about showing the music through our dancing, with our own individual style, and enjoying it!
