Ray Jones

I have been part of the line dance world for over 28 years, building a respected reputation as a competitor, choreographer, instructor, and qualified judge. Throughout my career, I have competed with major organisations including the UKDC, UCWDC, and World Dance Masters. As a qualified judge for the UKDC, I bring years of experience, knowledge, and passion to the competitive line dance scene. Alongside Matt Lewis, I co-run R&M Linedance, where we continue to teach, inspire, and help grow the line dance community. As a choreographer and instructor, I have had the privilege of working with some of the most respected talent in the industry. One of the standout moments of my career came after winning the choreography competition at World Dance Masters, which led to the opportunity to teach at Sunshine N Line in the United States—a true bucket-list achievement and one of my proudest career highlights. With nearly three decades dedicated to line dancing, I remain passionate about sharing my knowledge, creativity, and love of the dance floor with dancers around the world, helping others develop their skills and enjoy everything that line dancing has to offer.
