step out and slightly forward onto L (1); step out and slightly forward onto R (2); return L to center (under frame) (3); step R next to L (4)
5, 6, 7&8
step L across R (5); return weight to R (6); step L to left side as you open toward the left (7); step R next to L as you continue turning left (&); step L forward as you complete a ¼ turn (8) [9:00]
 
[9~16]: R FWD-HOLD, ½ L-HOLD, R FWD, ¼ L, R CROSS, L BACK WITH A ¼ TURN RIGHT
1-2, 3-4
R step forward (1); hold (2); make ½ turn left onto your L (3); hold (4) [3:00]
5, 6, 7, 8
R step forward (5); make ¼ left and step onto L (6); step R across L (prep) (7); [12:00] step back onto L while making a ¼ turn right (8) [3:00]
 
[17~24]: ¼ R, TOUCH OUT L, ¼ L, TOUCH OUT R, ½ TURNING JAZZ BOX (R-L-R) - FWD L

Notes: Most of the movement, especially from count 9, should feel rounded and continuous. Once you know where you are heading to, on the ‘clock,’ flow with directional changes through your hips and feet and shoulders!
