CONTRA STYLE NOTES:
This dance is written in contra line formation with dancers facing their partners across the floor (“windows” are the gaps between dancers in the opposite line).
● Section 1: Always pass your partner (to your right) with right shoulders, both on the forward shuffle and the back shuffle. Stay facing the same wall the entire time.
● Section 2: Shuffles move you side to side into new windows.
● Section 3: Changes both windows and lines.
○ Counts 1-2, move a window to dancers right.
○ Counts 3-4, change lines.
○ Counts 5-6, move a window to dancers left.
○ Then the ½ turn switches you to face your second wall.
● Section 4: Final slide changes windows one last time, setting you up for the Shake and Bake knuckle touch (with your partner to your right diagonal).
