I believe soul line dances are usually learned by watching people dance it and memorizing the steps and how they fit the music, making strong musical muscle memories. This dance, fortunately, also lends itself to being counted and written into a step sheet for other learning preferences. The counts are based on the rhythm of the music.

PART 1 IN AND OUTS, HEEL TAPS, HESITATE
1&2&Right foot out to right, right foot in, right out, right in
3&4&Left foot out to left, left foot in, left out, left in
5&6&Tap right heel forward, recover, tap left heel forward, recover
7 8Tap right heel forward and hold it there

PART 2 HESITATE, HEEL TAPS, STEPPING QUARTER RIGHT TURN, STEP POINTS
