The Dirty Dance (L/P)

Position:

Either sweetheart position (gent standing behind & to left of lady) or what I call the 'friendly' position where the dancers are in contact with the gent standing directly behind the lady, his hands on her hips and the ladies hands on his hands or behind on his hips/tush.

Sequence:

AAB AAB repeated

Men make a 1/4 turn right & ladies optionally turn 1 & 1/4 turn right at end just as at the end of '1 Step Forward 2 Steps Back'

In partner dance (slow lane) men omit the turn & ladies optionally do a full turn right at end of dance.

STEP-HIPS, 2, 3, TOUCH, STEP-HIPS, 6, 7, TOUCH,

SECTION B

DOUBLE SIDE-STEP LEFT, DOUBLE SIDE-STEP RIGHT,
