We have decided to count the dance at half pace because it is just too confusing to count it at full speed - and it will be easier for most of us to learn and teach the dance at this pace.

1&2Kick right forward, step down on right, step left beside right (kick ball change)
3-4Step forward on right, making ¼ pivot turn left transfer weight to left
5&6Rock/step forward on right, rock back on left, step back on right
7&8Rock/step back on left, rock forward on right, step forward on left
9-10Rock/step right to right, rock left to left
11&12Step right behind left, step left to left, step right behind left (shuffle behind)
&Step left to left
13-14Step forward on right, make ¼ turn left pivoting on both feet
15&16Step back on left, step right beside left, step forward on left (coaster)
17Step forward on right
&18Stepping left up to right twist heels right, twist heels to center keeping weight on left
19Step forward on right
&20Stepping left up to right twist heels right, twist heels to center keeping weight on left
21-22Rock/step back on right, step forward on left
&23Step right beside left, touch left heel forward
&24Step left forward, touch right beside left
25-26Point right to right, making ½ turn right step right beside left (½ Monterey turn)
27&28&Step left to left, step right behind left, step left to left, step right across left (syncopated vine)
29-30Rock/step left to left, rock weight to right
31-32Touch left behind right, unwind ¾ turn left transferring weight to left
