This dance can also be danced as a couple dance in a following circle (as in Cotton Eye Joe) by holding hand sweetheart fashion for beats 1-19, releasing hands but standing closely side by side for beats 20-40, and rejoining hands for beats 41-56. Ideal for a fun party dance.
1-2Touch right heel diagonally forward right, hook across left shin
3-4Touch right heel diagonally forward right, replace right foot
5-6Touch left heel, diagonally forward left, hook across left shin
7-8Touch left heel, diagonally forward left, replace left foot
9-10Touch right heel, diagonally forward right, replace
11-12Touch left heel diagonally forward left, replace
13&14&Touch right heel forward, jump switch to touch left heel forward and replace
