Begin in Contra Position, men in one line and ladies in another (men usually face the source of music, ladies face away) with about six feet separating the two lines. Opposing dancers should be slightly offset from each other so as to allow passing right shoulder to right shoulder when both move forward. Footwork is identical for both partners. Try to maintain eye contact as much as possible during this dance. It really adds to the "Check-it-out" theme.
