Sweetheart or Promenade Position. Both partners dance left-2-3, right-5-6.

Partners step away from each other, man ¼ to left, lady ¼ to right. Will be facing. Man lifts right arm over lady's head to end with arms crossed in front. Lady should cross left in front of right.

Partners reverse above to end in original position. Lady should cross right behind left.

Repeat previous 6 counts

Forward movement to left

Backward movement to right (description: pivotal turn with partners remaining side-by-side. To make turn work, on the forward count 1 man shortens his step and the lady lengthens hers, then on the backward count 4 the man lengthens his and the lady shortens hers).
